Rhonda Brannon

Former Hastings resident Rhonda Brannon, 70, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at her home outside of Cozad, Nebraska.

Rhonda's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no viewing or visitation. Graveside service will be 11:00am, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, Nebraska. DeWitt Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Lexington.

Rhonda was born to Milton and Marjorie (Lippincott) Nelson on November 10, 1944. She lived the majority of her life in Hastings, Nebraska. She married William (Bill) Brannon in 1987, they lived in Niceville, Florida, when Bill passed away in 2005 Rhonda moved back to Hastings to be closer to family.

Rhonda is survived by her son, Jeff and wife Karla Armstrong of Cozad, NE; two grandchildren, Keiton of Lincoln, NE, and Kaitlyn of Hastings, NE; brother, Dan and wife Helene Nelson of Maine; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dianne, and grandparents.
