Melody S Buck Obituary (1949

Lincoln resident Melody S. Buck, 64, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 with her family and friends by her side at The Monarch Lincoln, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to The United Lutheran Church in Havelock. Melody was born January 27, 1949 in Glendale, California, the daughter of Kenneth V. and Hazel F. (Kuhn) Buck. She graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1967 and attended Hastings College, both in Hastings, Nebraska. She was interested in teaching Pre-School and taught Sunday school at her church. Melody served at a delegate for the Nebraska Democratic Party. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church, Nebraskans for Peace, and worked with many different environmental groups. Melody is survived by her brother, Ken Buck of Woodstock, Maryland, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Kelly Buck.
