Mark "Slick" R. Krcmarik Obituary (1962

Mark R. "Slick" Krcmarik, of Lincoln, NE., passed away peacefully with his family on Saturday, June 8th, 2013. He was born January 1st, 1962 in Lincoln to James "Jim" and Alberda "Birdie" (Fink) Krcmarik. He was the first New Year's Eve baby born in Lincoln, 1962. He graduated from Northeast in 1980. Mark married Carla in 2006 at Hazel Abel Park in Lincoln. They celebrated their 7th anniversary on May 17th, 2013. Mark had one son, Mason. He considered him to be one of his best friends. Mark was a service manager at Williamson Motor's for almost 30 years. He also was a service writer at Frontier Harley Davidson. He was one of the original founding members and past president of the Roughriders. Mark was always involved in something; archery, dirt biking and motorcycling to name a few. He loved to be the host of the party and was a 3rd generation home brewer. He won the Nebraska State Fair Blue Ribbon for his Blueberry Buzz creation. His passion for travel took him to many places including, the Bahamas', Mexico, Cabo & Jamaica. He was most importantly a devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend. Survivors include his wife Carla, son Mason & his furry family members, Domino, Murphy, Felix and Pawpoochkiss. Mother: Alberda "Birdie", sister: Lorie Chrastil; Brother-in-law Jim Williams; Father-in-law and mother-in-law Allen & Cindy Baier. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Daryl & Renee Baier and Dean & Doris Baier. Nephews and nieces: Dave & Stacy Everson, Rob & KellyJo Everson, Chrissa Bonow, Brandon & Jessica Chrastil, Austin & Elyse Weaver, Nate Chrastil, Alex Williams & Tiffinii Eberspacher, Jake & Lauren Ganow. Several cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by mother-in-law Beverly Baier. Brother-in-law: Randy Chrastil. Father, James R. Krcmarik and Sister, Robyn (Krcmarik) Williams. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 13th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary & Joseph's in Valparaiso with Monsignor Paul K. Witt officiating. St. Mary & Joseph 637 Iver St. Valparaiso, NE 68065. Interment at Wyuka following the service. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday June 12th at Lincoln Family Funeral Care. 5844 Fremont Street, Lincoln, NE. Memorials to the family to be designated at a later date.
