Obituary for Kathey M. Hamsher Kathey M. Hamsher, 69, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at the Harvard Rest Haven in Harvard, Nebraska. Memorial service is 1:30 pm, Saturday, August 18, 2018, at All Saints Chapel in Good Samaritan Society at Hastings, Nebraska. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Hastings, Nebraska. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements. Memorials may be directed to AseraCare Hospice or Harvard Rest Haven. Kathey M. Hamsher was born December 3, 1948, in Hastings, Nebraska, the daughter of Raymond and Velma (Heath) Dieken. She graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1967. Kathey worked at the Ammunition Depot, raised her two children and started her career at the Hastings Regional Center. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and time spent with family and friends. Kathey is survived by her Children, Troy (Lauri) Hamsher of Denver, CO and Tracy (Paul) Holdeman; grandchildren, Braxton Delgado, Darbi Hamsher, Ty Hamsher, Ethan Holdeman; sister, Judith Thomas; along with many close cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
