Heidi L. Anderson

Hastings resident Heidi L. Anderson, 48, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020, at her home.

Memorial service is 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hastings, Nebraska. In honoring her wish for cremation there is no viewing or visitation. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Hastings, Nebraska, are handling arrangements.

Heidi L. Anderson was born July 26, 1971, in Holdrege Nebraska, daughter of Steven and Roxann (Ridenour) Maurer. She received her GED from Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska and in 2005 received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Parts Management. Heidi married Guy Anderson on February 16, 1991, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hastings, Nebraska. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Heidi enjoyed computer games and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren

Heidi is survived by her husband, Guy Anderson of Hastings, NE;
daughters, Amber Modlin of Dayton, OH, Kelsie Anderson (fiance, Nick Pizarro) of Grand Island, NE, and Emily (Zeb) Wehnes of Inland, NE; grandchildren, Izayah Cates-Anderson, Braytin Pizarro, Zaiden Nutz, Damiah Wehnes, and Keaytin Pizarro; parents, Steven and Roxann Maurer of Hastings, NE; sisters, Heather (Jason) Gladney, Michele (Chris) Hoisington, and Jacque Bean; mother-in-law, Patricia Lundell; Father-in-law, Roger (Karen) Anderson; brother-in-law, Joel Anderson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Mikeal Klein; and grandparents.
