Gloria Elizabeth Keim Meden Al-Faraj Obituary (1960

Lincoln resident Gloria Elizabeth Keim Meden Al-Faraj, 53, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, with her family by her side at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Iglesia De Dios, 1345 S 16th, in Lincoln. Viewing will be one hour before services. Burial will be 3:00pm, Monday, February 11, 2013 at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorials may be given to her family. Gloria was born January 3, 1960 in Asuncion, Paraguay, the daughter of Tomas Agustin Keim and Maria Meden de Keim. She graduated and then went on to culinary school in Paraguay. She came to the United States 25 years ago and lived in Washington D.C. before moving to Lincoln in 1997. Gloria was a faithful member of Iglesia De Dios in Lincoln. She enjoyed cooking and had a great sense of humor. Gloria loved her family and lived to spend time with her grandchildren; she had a big heart and was always there to help anyone who needed it. Gloria is survived by her husband, Husain Al-Faraj; children, Omar Montoya and his fiancee Kasey Horner, Noemi Johnson and her husband Demetrius, all of Lincoln, children in Paraguay, Clara, Cynthia and Eduardo; five grandchildren in Lincoln, Marco, Mya, Joyce, Quincy, and Jayvis, and six grandchildren in Paraguay, Santiago, Nicole, Toti, Luna, Luana and Benjamin; mother, Maria Meden de Keim, nine sisters; five brothers; and a host of other relatives, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
