Hastings resident Gladys R. Dooley, 88, passed away, Friday, October 7, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, NE.

Graveside Memorial to be held at a later date. In honoring her wishes to be cremated there is no viewing or visitation. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Hastings, Nebraska is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to her family.

Gladys was born February 14, 1928 in Hastings, Nebraska the daughter George and Mollie (Schiebel) Meyers. She married Harold Dooley in Grand Island, NE.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Carol (Gary) Borrell of Hastings; son, David (Connie) Colters of Olivehurst, CA; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathy Borntrager; sister, Dottie Colter; and brother, Harold Meyers.
