Carl E. Welch

Carl E. Welch, Jr., 89, passed away October 9, 2013. He was born March 6, 1924 in Branson, MO, to Carl E. Sr. and Vada (Kemp) Welch. He attended the University of Kansas and later Northwestern. On July 8, 1984, he married Elaine (Zeikle). He was a longtime advertising manager for Miller and Paine, and later owned 1st Impressions art gallery. After retirement he managed Centerstone apartments. He served in the Army and is a WWII Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his daughters; Allison, Debbie (Doug) Everett, Sheri (Bob) Michaud, Christy (Kim) Killingsworth, and Cindy Hagen. 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1st wife Marian. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, October 12th at 3:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian chapel, 2110 Sheridan Blvd.
