Alton R. "Dick" Larson Obituary (1935

Menomonie, Wisconsin resident Alton R. "Dick" Larson, 76, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Good Samaritan Health Systems in Kearney, Nebraska. Dick was born May 18, 1935 in Star Prairie, Wisconsin, the son of Alvin R. and Stella E. (Cole) Larson. He graduated from New Richmond High School with the class of 1953. Dick married Sharon L. Dahl on May 2, 1954. He worked at Taystee Bread for 25 years. Dick was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Wisconsin. His hobby was people; he never met a stranger and always enjoyed chatting with friends. Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon; four loving children and their spouses; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of friends.He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. Service Private family services will be held.
