Adelle Bjudstad

Hastings resident Adelle M. Bjugstad, 92, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at her home.

Private family services with burial at Parkview Cemetery will be held at a later date. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting her family with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.

Adelle was born on December 20, 1932, in Stamford, Nebraska, the daughter of David and Effie (Park) Delimont. Adelle married William “Bill” Bjugstad on February 22, 1952, in Hastings, Nebraska, they were together nearly 72 years before his passing in Hastings, Nebraska. She worked at Good Samaritan Village along with owning and operating many businesses including BJ’s Wash House.

Adelle is survived by her children, Vicki (James) Perrie, Kelly Bjugstad, and Betty Lundquist; grandchildren, Michael Perrie, Eric Perrie, and Christopher Lundquist; step-grandchildren, Justin Griffiths, Jessica Manka, and Elaine Reiners; nine great-grandchildren; brother, David Delimont; along with numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenneth Bjugstad; son-in-law, Richard Lundquist; and siblings, Erma Backman, Harvey Delimont, Neil Delimont, and Albert Delimont.
