Abigail Lauren Schrock Obituary (1999

Hastings resident Abigail Lauren Schrock, 16, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Mary Lanning HealthCare in Hastings. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. In honoring her wishes to be cremated there will be no viewing or visitation. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements. Memorials may be directed to her family for a later designation. Abigail Lauren Schrock was born March 2, 1999 in Hastings, Nebraska, the daughter of Steven D. and Tracy L. (Jeremias) Schrock. She was beginning her junior year at Hastings High School this fall. Abigail enjoyed music, designing clothing and dresses, drawing, cruising around Hastings and hanging out at Hastings Lake with her friends. She loved spending time with family, friends and her dogs, Precious, Rocky and Jaxson. Abigail was a very loving and giving person, always putting others before herself. Abigail is survived by her parents, Steven and Tracy Schrock of Hastings, NE; sister, Sarah Schrock of Kearney, NE; brothers, Nathaniel Schrock, Alexander Schrock, both of Hastings, NE, Brendon Nierman of Grand Island, NE, and Jacob Schrock of Stapleton, NE; grandparents, Gary and Ruth Jeremias of Hastings, NE and Duane and Mary Schrock of Kearney, NE; Aunts and Uncles, Troy Jeremias, Todd and Christine Jeremias, Pam and Rod Young, Mary Jo and Dan Hill, Tracy Space, and Erin and Randall Adam; along with numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.
